I don’t even know where to start because everything about working with Shawnia was just amazing! From the communication, to engagement session, to the actual wedding! Shawnia and her team were a blast to work with and we had our wedding party telling us that they normally hate getting photos take but with Shawnia they were so much fun!

My husband and I both hate having our photos taken but Shawnia and her team made the process smooth and stress free. She was organized, communicative, and most of all, made it fun! She told us what to do and how to pose in a way that made the photos come out looking natural as well as capturing many great photos when we weren’t paying attention that really displayed our personalities and love for each other. The day of the wedding my fiancé and I are so awkward and usually photograph terribly. So we dislike our pictures being taken. But Shawnia and her group made the day incredible for us. They were the highlight of our day. By far. They were so much fun, and supported us. And listened to our needs. I don't know how. But they worked their magic. And the pictures are absolutely stunning. So much better than I could EVER possibly imagine. We are so incredibly grateful from the bottom of our hearts to have crossed paths. 10/10 recommend. Best decision I made!

We loved working with Shawnia! The photos (sneak peek so far!) are gorgeous. Somehow Shawnia & team managed to get all the photos despite me not having all the little items in one place, being 30 minutes late to the venue when our hair/makeup appointment ran over, and just the general chaos of the day. Shawnia is clearly a professional. None of our photos felt super posed or fake. Also felt like Shawnia was looking out for us with photos…when the timeline didn’t leave enough room for what we wanted she definitely let us know so we could adjust it and I really appreciate that. Open and frank communication for sure. We are so, so happy with how everything went. Would highly recommend any day!

Shawnia and her team did such a great job capturing our wedding! From the very start, her and her team were friendly, professional, and helpful. From getting ready, to walking down the aisle, to dancing the night away, they did a beautiful job at capturing memories of our wedding that we will be sure to cherish forever! I was blown away with the large selection of photos we were able to view the very same night of our wedding and we had the rest of our photos before we even returned from our honeymoon! We were slightly nervous how our photos would turn out with the indoor lighting at our venue, but our dancefloor photos look amazing. I would (and do!) recommend Oh Shoot Photography for capturing any event!
